Identifying System Operators

You can identify VM userids as VM:Webgateway system operators.

A VM:Webgateway system operator is a VM userid that has VM:Webgateway SYSOPER authorization. VM:Webgateway system operators can issue any VM:Webgateway command that requires SYSOPER or no authorization. VM:Webgateway system operators can also receive messages intended for system operators.

You can add or delete system operators either from a web browser or from a VM userid that has SYSADMIN authorization. From a web browser, use the Configuring System Operators configuration form. From a VM userid, use the CONFIG SYSOPER command.

Note: The default database that is shipped with VM:Webgateway identifies the userid VMRMAINT as a system operator.
