Setting VM Options

A system administrator can set the following VM options:

Which CP command VM:Webgateway should use to send messages to VM userids, either MESSAGE or MSGNOH
Whether VM:Webgateway should issue messages sent to VM userids in mixed case or uppercase
Which VM userid to receive dumps that VM:Webgateway creates when it abends

You can set the VM options either from a web browser or from a VM userid with SYSADMIN authorization:

Use the Set VM Options configuration form.

VM

Enter one or more of the following:

CONFIG MSGCMD command to identify the CP command VM:Webgateway should use to send messages to VM userids
CONFIG MSGCASE command to indicate whether VM:Webgateway should issue messages to VM userids in mixed case or uppercase
CONFIG DUMP command to identify the VM userid to which VM:Webgateway should send dumps
