Producer: John Agnello, Engineer: John Agnello with Erik Flettrich, Tracks: Headlights; Wading; Be Still; Function; Sad Figure; Disguise; Other Moon; Tears of Rage; How Could Anyone; January Song; Odinikaya Garmon (The Lonely Accordion); Mercury; New Life

Dana Kletter (formerly of Chapel Hill's Blackgirls) is the driving force behind Dish. This explains the emphasis on piano on a number of these tracks. It also explains the very literate (but not necessarily highbrow) lyrics. Dish doesn't give me the peering-over-the-edge adrenalin rush that initial listens to Blackgirls' "Procedure" gave me. But Dish are a very good alternative pop band that handle both 'sweet' pop and a feistier sound very well. Tears of Rage is a cover of the Bob Dylan/Richard Manuel (The Band) tune.
