The female half of Bongwater releases her first solo album. Like the character she played on the TV show "Anything But Love" (the flaky editor), "The Luv Show" is diverse, flaky, offbeat and mostly rather wonderful. There's a little more of a jazz cabaret feel to this album than on the more folkish, rootsy, earthy Bongwater releases. There's plenty of slightly odd and skewed stuff here.
