Produced by Jack Endino (who has had, perhaps, as much or more to do with the Seattle sound than any band that has been jettisoned to national attention from that scene), Mudhoney's latest is rooted in early Aerosmith style sound without the 70s throwback sound. It's less a 'grunge' (tm) sound and more a truly grungy album.
