FIREFIGHTER

The Orono Fire Department is looking for dynamic team players for the positions of firefighter-paramedic and a firefighter. Orono is located in central Maine and home to the University of Maine. We offer an excellent wage and benefit package including health insurance, holiday pay, retirement, sick and vacation leave. Wage range is $27,400-38,000, with holiday and education stipends included. Applicants must possess a valid drivers license, be in good physical condition, have a high school diploma or equivalent, firefighting experience and be able to meet EMS requirements for the position.
