The benefits of a comprehensive fire department training program are clearly visible at any emergency scene. The types of classes, amount of time dedicated to training, and the quality of the curriculum is directly proportional to operational effectiveness. Classroom and hands-on training sessions cover a variety of topics including fire suppression, emergency medicine, hazardous materials response, confined space rescue, vehicle extrication, emergency response equipment operation, counter terrorism and other related topics.
